Sunday Night Teams
On Sunday Night Teams (SNT), our goals are to make people feel welcome, make Frontline feel “smaller,” and serve the Frontline community by helping the Sunday night service run smoothly. As the first contact for each person coming into Frontline, we’re in a unique position to make a huge impact on each Frontliner’s experience.
SNT volunteers can serve as often as they’d like – once a month, every week, whatever works best. To give you a better sense of what it’s like to be an SNT volunteer, listed below are general descriptions of the available volunteer roles: Greeters and Ushers.
Greeters welcome people as they come into the church (5:00-5:35pm), pass out bulletins as people enter the sanctuary (5:15-5:45pm), and help direct people (as needed).
Ushers collect the offering and assist with communion, if necessary. Offering collection occurs at approximately 6pm each week and only takes 5-10 minutes.
SNT volunteers can serve as greeters, ushers, or both. If you’d like to become a part of this ministry, we simply ask you to attend a brief (5-10 minutes) training session; one of the SNT coaches is at the SNT booth, located in the church lobby, each week at 4:30pm to administer the training (please just send us an email at the address below so we know to expect you). Once trained, volunteers are able to serve simply by signing up each week between 4:30-5:15 pm at the SNT booth.
SNT’s coaches, Brian and Amber, oversee the group, handle logistics, and focus on building community. We have a great team of Frontliners who support this amazing ministry, and we’re always looking for new faces – we’d love to have you join the team!
