Mid-Sized Communties
While our primary vehicle for community, mission, and discipleship outside of Sunday evening services is small groups and regional communities, we offer some mid-sized interest based communities where you can connect with others and grow in your relationship with Christ.
Friday Night Bible Study. This is a medium-sized, intentional, co-ed community geared towards Christians who wish to participate in an interactive, verse-by-verse Bible study. They meet every other Friday at the Tysons campus from 7:45-9:15pm. Contact fnbsleaders@yahoo.com for more information.
Women’s Precepts Classes. Precepts is an inductive Bible study (using Scripture to interpret Scripture – and digging deep to find God’s meaning, not just what “we think” the Bible says). It truly teaches you how to study the Bible for yourself. These courses use materials prepared by Kay Arthur and involve about five hours of homework per week and class time on Sunday night to discuss the week’s lessons. Classes are taught each spring and fall semester. Email Holly at holly.huffman@mcleanbible.org for more information. The next open class will begin in April 2012.
Men’s Precepts Classes. Precepts is an inductive Bible study (using Scripture to interpret Scripture – and digging deep to find God’s meaning, not just what “we think” the Bible says). It truly teaches you how to study the Bible for yourself. This class meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:15pm in the spring and fall semster. The Union for Married and Engaged couples. We know that there are many married and engaged couples that attend Frontline Tysons. This community group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00am at MBC Tysons in Room 3400. It is a place where you can connect with other couples, learn biblical marriage principles, and be encouraged as you strive to honor Christ in your marriage.
