Help celebrate children with special needs and renew their families by running the Marine Corps Marathon or 10K with Team Jill’s House! The MCM will take place on October 28, 2012 at 8am in Washington, DC. Jill’s House has several spots available on their Charity Partner Team. Volunteer with Access
Give a special parent a break from the care of their child with disabilities by becoming a respite buddy four hours a month on a Saturday afternoon. No experience necessary; will train! For more information, email sheena.austria@mcleanbible.org.

However, those who are recommended by the Nominating Committee and approved by the Board may be invited to participate in an Elder mentoring process when there is a need to replace a current member or add to the Board. If you would like to nominate someone, please talk to the individual first to assure that he prayerfully aspires to the position of Elder (1 Timothy 3:1), then give that person’s name to Elder Mark Hernandez at mark.herdandez@mcleanbible.org. Before nominating someone, please review the qualifications and duties of elders, which are available at the Welcome Center.

Ever since we went multi-campus, we’ve been looking for an opportunity to bring all of our campuses together for one service and Easter is that time. It’s the most significant celebration of the year for us as believers. So, Silver Spring, Arlington, PW and Tyson’s are all meeting at 5.30PM on Easter Sunday (April 8th) in the Smith Center at the Tysons Campus. Trust us, you want to be here for this.
