DC Schools Project
Many of Washington, DC’s public schools are in a sad state of disrepair. But we can make a difference! With the school year fast approaching, Frontline is partnering with the DC community to clean up these schools before students arrive for their first day of class. “Own The Mission” and share the love of Christ in a practical way. We would love for you, your small group, your co-workers, your family, and your friends to join us on August 21st from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm to serve our city in Christ’s name. Local Impact Volunteers Needed
Do you have professional or personal experience working with non-profit organizations or are you just passionate about community service? Local Impact is looking for motivated volunteers like you to help Frontline Tysons partner with local non-profit organizations – all for the purpose of spreading the message of Christ. Arlington Softball Leagues
Frontline’s softball ministry needs Arlington County residents to play on their Wednesday and Thursday night teams. Games start in late August and go through October. If you are interested email Kara Zirkle at karazirkle@gmail.com. Gathering & Frontline Communion and Worship Night
The Gathering is hosting a communion and worship night on Tuesday, August 3rd at 8PM in Community Room C. Nick Jones and The Gathering’s band will be leading worship and John McGowan is going to steer us through communion. The night is designed primarily for college age students but is open to all. We really want to encourage you to attend if you are a Frontliner with an interest in serving college students this year as a small group leader or ministry team coach. You’ll be able to get more information about those roles and see more of what it would look like to serve with The Gathering.
Frontline Night Out: Nats Game
Frontline Tysons is heading out to the ballpark Saturday, August 28 for the 7:05 Nationals game vs the Cardinals. Tickets are $10, and you can register online by clicking here. Registration closes Wednesday, August 25th at midnight. For questions please email juliemdaniel@gmail.com. It will be a great way to spend a summer evening and get to know some other Frontliners. How2 Study The Bible Workshop
Do you want to read the Bible with more passion and effectiveness? Then come to an interactive workshop on Saturday, August 28 from 9:00am-3:00pm. The $20 registration fee covers all of the materials, as well as breakfast and lunch! All you have to bring is just your Bible and a pen. Click here to register.
